Stan Stamper is a second generation daily newspaper publisher in Hugo, Oklahoma. Since completing a degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma in 1974, Stamper has been an award winning journalist, writing about a broad scope of events that occur in small-town America.
With his wife of 38 years, Judy, the couple have one son, Brian, who with his wife Elizabeth, are the proud parents of a son, Bailey, and a daughter, Abbey.
Stamper is an accomplished aviator. He served for 18 years as a member of the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission and was named Aviator of the Year in Oklahoma in 1997. He is a certified SCUBA diver, avid golfer and outdoorsman.
He is a commercial pilot and flight instructor, and aviation themes are frequent in DANGER DIVA, and in his latest thriller, Risk It All.
